Respite Care

North Carolina Medicaid provides respite care for medically fragile children, but accessing that care can be difficult for kids with complex needs, especially those with life-limiting conditions. Piper's Place changes that. Our home offers a safe, engaging environment where children receive around-the-clock medical care while also getting to be kids. Aqua therapy, sensory rooms, adaptive playgrounds, and everyday childhood activities are all part of the experience, tailored to children with severe disabilities and terminal conditions.
