From event support to hands-on help as we prepare the house, volunteers are the backbone of Piper's Place. Whether you have a few hours or an ongoing commitment to give, we would love to have you.
Marketing
We are looking to set up a strong marketing committee. We will need a few people with different skill sets to make a meaningful impact.
We are actively seeking 4-5 people to help with the following:

Grant Writing and Approval
Do you have a talent with grant writing or grant review? We are actively seeking 3-5 people for our grant writing and approval committee.
Fundraising
We actively need people that have fundraising experience.
We are seeking 1-2 people to help with fundraising efforts for the Piper G. Amundson Foundation. We are looking to raise money to support the formation of high quality education and training in the pediatric palliative and hospice care space.
We also need people with experience in capital campaigns to assist with the capital funding for Piper’s Place.
Real Estate
We need a commercial real estate professional to assist with identifying and sourcing a piece of land that is 2-3 acres in proximity to the two major children’s hospitals in Charlotte, NC.
Design and Architecture
We are looking for a few talented design, architecture, engineering and rendering professionals to assist with the planning and design of Piper’s Place, the first pediatric palliative, respite, and hospice care home in the Southeast.
Project and Construction Management
We seek a project and construction committee of 3-5 people. This committee will consist of people with project /construction management background to help support the design and construction of Piper’s Place.
Medical
We are seeking 1-2 people in pediatric or palliative care medicine to assist with training, development, and direct outreach in the Charlotte area.
