A Home, Not a Hospital

10 Respite + Palliative Care Rooms

For medically fragile but stable children who can spend time enjoying the house's amenities. Around-the-clock care in a fun, child-friendly setting designed to help kids live as well as possible for as long as possible.

3-4 Hospice Care Suites

Connected to larger independent living areas, these suites give families peace, quiet, and space for memory-making at the end of a child's life. Full balconies let children experience the outdoors and spend quality time in the sunlight.

2-3 Infant Rooms

Charlotte serves as a regional hub for specialty infant care, bringing newborns from across the state. Some of these infants are diagnosed with life-limiting conditions at birth. These rooms provide families with a place to be near hospital care without living inside the hospital. Equipped with specialized warmers, cribs, and post-loss support resources, these rooms serve families from the very beginning through the hardest goodbye.
